Maine- Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens opportunity. This is an excellent, new Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens opportunity located in Northern Maine. This opportunity is immediately available and we have needs as early as April 2012. The hospital is offering temporary privileges to expedite start date. This is an outstanding opportunity for BE or BC Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine candidates. Physician will provide emergency medicine coverage for the hospitals 19,000 annual visit department. The emergency department consist of 11 beds and is covered by 2 shifts per day. This opportunity is for single coverage, but there is PA coverage in the walk in care department between 10a-6p. The department shifts are: (7am-7pm), (7pm-7am). Dictation by phone is used for charting. We are offering an outstanding hourly compensation, paid malpractice insurance, and paid travel and housing.
