Chuck Harris – President / CEO
Chuck is a founding Partner with HMA and is a native of the Atlanta,
Georgia area. He graduated with honors from the University of
Georgia where he attended on a full four year track scholarship.
Chuck has over 30 years of healthcare staffing experience. He
is formerly co-founder and President of Harris, Kovacs & Alderman,
one of the nations largest permanent placement firms. Under his
leadership, HKA Locum Tenens was established and provided locum
tenens services for all physician specialties for both commercial
and government entities across the US. The companies overall
successes and growth resulted in their designation as an Inc.
Magazine 500 fastest growing privately held companies.
Chuck is also a founding member of the National Council of Medicine
at Emory University and a board member of Atlanta Leukemia Research,
Inc. He began and oversees a 30-year-old philanthropy with the
Charles
Harris Run, a 10k road race in honor of Chuck's father, Dr.
Charles E. Harris, who succumbed to leukemia at age 49, in 1981.
The race has raised over $1 million for leukemia research at Emory
University. His outside interests include boating, running, triathlon
competition, snow skiing, travel, family events and prison ministry
with his church.
Scot Gray – Vice President
Scot is a founding Partner with HMA and is a graduate of David
Lipscomb University with a BA in Finance / Economics. He brings
to HMA over 20 years of successful recruiting experience in both
the consultive permanent placement and temporary staffing of physicians.
Scot’s recruiting experience includes establishing medical staff
recruitment plans for hospitals and practices across the US in
a retained capacity. As a locum tenens recruiter, Scot has achieved
top sales honors year after year with one of the industries prominent
locum tenens companies. Scot’s primary area of interest with Harris
Medical is the management of our Locum Tenens operations.
Outside of the office, Scot is an avid landscaper / gardener,
enjoys weight training, service volunteer work and spending time
with his family. He is also very active in the mentoring and counseling
of troubled youth within his community.
Mark Stinnett – Vice President Government Services
Mark has been active in healthcare staffing for over 18 years.
He is a graduate of Georgia State University with a BA in Management.
His experience includes executive management positions with various
firms in the permanent placement and locum tenens industry. For
the past 8 years, Mark has been directly engaged in the procurement
and management of state and federal government staffing contracts.
His primary area of interest with Harris Medical is the development
of our Government Services Division and the management of our
current GSA Contract through the Federal Supply Service.
Outside of the office Mark enjoys fishing, hiking and camping
as well as tending to the weeds in his garden.
